  1. Aug 31, 2026, 21:35 CEST

After confirming that the upstream data pipeline adjustments had remediated the source of the issue and continuing to monitor report generation, we've validated that fresh usage reports are being created as expected and that all previous usage data is now available to admins.

  2. Aug 27, 2026, 20:16 CEST

Our efforts to make upstream data pipeline adjustments and report migrations to address the remaining reporting delays are ongoing, and at this time most affected data pipelines and reports have already been restored. Additionally, we've further confirmed no usage report data was lost as a result of this issue. We are continuing to monitor recovery until data freshness is fully restored across all remaining reports and are implementing preventive measures to help avoid similar issues in the future.

We're continuing to make upstream data pipeline adjustments and report migrations to address the remaining reporting delays. We'll provide a timeline for remediation as soon as one becomes available.

  4. Aug 25, 2026, 17:56 CEST

We're progressing with our upstream data pipeline adjustments to address the remaining reporting delays admins are encountering. Copilot Usage and Copilot Chat Usage reports delays have subsided and we're completing our mitigations for Copilot Readiness reports, Copilot Adoption reports, Microsoft 365 App & Active user reports, and Teams App reports. We're expecting an estimated timeline for the remediation of the impact for all reports will be available by our next scheduled communication update.

  5. Aug 24, 2026, 19:53 CEST

We've begun the process of applying mitigations for the report latency, and have confirmed that Copilot Usage and Copilot Chat Usage reports have recovered thanks to these mitigations. We're recovering the remaining impacted reports, and will provide an updated timeline for full remediation as soon as one becomes available.

  6. Aug 21, 2026, 19:31 CEST

Our monitoring has identified an increase report generation delays and our investigation has identified that an upstream component that facilitates report data access and generation isn't responding as expected, resulting in impact. We're in the process of identifying the underlying cause of impact and develop a remediation strategy.

When Microsoft 365 goes down

The live overview shows the current state of every Microsoft 365 service, refreshed every minute from Microsoft Graph.

To see whether your own tenant is affected, check Service health in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Only a backup outside Microsoft protects against data loss, and only a tested break-glass account against locked-out admins. We set up both in fixed-scope sprints.
